Sally Rowley
Sally has an extensive history in the textiles industry and holds qualifications in Apparel Production and Design. Her passion is sewing and quilting, and she has over 16 years of experience in the fashion industry as a designer and pattern maker for Mr. K and Dolina.
Having worked in retail sewing shops, Sally possesses deep knowledge of sewing and overlocker machines from all major brands. In July 2025, she opened her own shop, Patchwork Nabiac, securing dealerships for Brother and BERNINA and supplying sewing notions, fabrics, patterns, and machine accessories from leading suppliers.
Born in Tianjin, China, Sally became an Australian citizen over 30 years ago. While studying at Tianjin’s Fine Art College, she explored the rich Chinese textile traditions. Her passion for sharing skills led her to coordinate the China Textile Tour, offering guests a unique and authentic experience.
